Germany, Third Reich. A Miniature SS Long Service Medal - III Class for 8 Years Heer. A Flak/Artillery Hauptmann’s Service Tunic Republic of Turkey(SS Dienstauszeichnung III. Klasse fr 8 Jahre). Instituted January 30th, 1938 and issued until 1945. Constructed of die struck bronze, the obverse bearing a raised swastika, overlaid by central double Sig runes that are set within a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing the raised number 8, overlaid by the inscription Fr Treue Dienste in der SS (For Faithful Service in the SS), on a double loop for suspension from its period original ribbon,
