An 1847 Pattern Belt Buckle Auction Archive found the King and QueenA rectangular belt buckle constructed of magnetic metal alloy, the centre plate in raised and bears a Bavarian crown encompassed by a simulated rope border and a ribbed border inscribed with IN TREUE FEST, the reverse bears a belt loop and a bar with two attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 62. 80 mm (w) x 47. 50 mm (h), fine.
